Danes Dyke now a nature reserve but in days gone by it was the route of many a smuggler an inlet into the North Sea on the Flamborough Headland stretches inland banked by dense wooded steep ravine the only lighted areas are the suns rays that manage to pierce the canopy or at te top of the Dyke where Man has altered the natural landscape
